Into the breach once more….

  • by

So today, I’m finally feeling well again. Not totally perfect yet as I have a small cough that is refusing to leave. But I can breathe again, my appetite is back (I lost five pounds over the weekend!), I can move around, and I can do things that require concentration (like working on the computer).

My wife wanted to get back to cleaning the house and needed some help. No problem, that’s what I’m here for, to help out.

So, the first thing she does is head right back to the room with all the dust. The same place that started all my troubles last week.

I did some things like opening boxes and handing her things, but as soon as the dust started kicking up, I left. Then my wife suggested something smart – try putting on a mask. (She just wanted me to keep working.)

I had to admit it was a good idea. I went and retrieved one of the face masks we had leftover from the 2020 Covid-19 plague. It kept anymore dust from getting into my system so I’m not likely to fall back into the same state as over the weekend. Good thing because I don’t want to go through more rounds of looping dreams.

I do find that my back hurts after moving heavy boxes around today. Not a young stud anymore, I guess. Break out the aspirin.

If you liked this look into the way my mind works, why not buy me a chocolate chip cookie through my Ko-Fi page?
