It seems the Universe is against me working for the last several days. We’ve had severe thunderstorms rolling through the area. Every time I sat down to get some work done, lightning and thunder start crackling across the sky.
Rather than risk my laptop getting fired, I shut it down. I’ve got enough problems with it randomly rebooting, I don’t need the whole thing fried by a lightning strike.
Yes, I should have a surge protector power strip to help prevent such things. I need to get one. I had one several years ago, but it disappeared in my last house move.
Anyway, thunder is rolling outside as I type, so I will keep this short so I can shut down my system.
At least I’m getting some reading time in.
