Not a lot to report this time around.
I’ve written two more flash fiction stories, bringing the total up to eight stories, and adding another one thousand (1000) words. That puts me at twenty-five hundred (2500) words written of my 15K goal for November. I’m going to have to up my daily word count to make that goal.
Sirocco and Magdalena are still having knock down, drag out wrestling matches. Sirocco will grab on to Magdalena’s cheek with his teeth and not let go, even when she squeals. She will grab on to his tail and pull him around, even if he squeals. You’d think they like torturing each other. But every time I go walking through the house I see the two of them lying next to each other, sleeping. Go figure.
We’re getting more things sorted into keep / sell / donate as we continue cleaning out the house. My biggest joy in this process is there is lots of shredding to do. I love feeding pages into the shredder.
The new garbage disposal is still flipping the circuit breaker every time I try to tur it on. If I plug it into an extension cord plugged into a different outlet, it runs. The dishwasher will run, and its on the same circuit as the disposal. The disposal and dish washer are plugged into the same outlets they were before we got the new disposal installed. My thought is the repair guy might have made a bad connection when taking the power cord from the old disposal and wiring it to the new one. I’m going to have to call him tomorrow and see if he can come out to take a look sometime soon.
I put together a Christmas wish list and passed it along to the wife. She is in charge of letting any interested parties know my desires.
Not much else to report, my Hordeling. My life is pretty boring and I like it that way.
