Many moons ago when I was in college I took a class on life / work planning. Part of the class involved taking a skills assessment survey. For an hour and a half I sat at a computer terminal answering questions on what I liked, what I was good at, and other things.
At the end of it all, the program spit out a list of careers I was suited for and might excel at. Mainly it said I should be a writer or a TV evangelist. I’d probably make more money as a TV evangelist, but I’m likely to have more fun as a writer. And if the writing gig doesn’t work out there is always TV evangelism to fall back on.
