The doors slide open and the mysterious woman enters a room. It is obviously not your average office. It is small, almost cramped. One wall is covered with panels, lights blinking on and off. Smooth metal and chrome outline all the surfaces. She sits at the lone chair in the room and flips several switches. A panel in the middle of the wall slides down. Behind it a screen flickers to life.

“This is Agent Mabon reporting in.”

On the screen a hooded figure appears. The face is shaded and hard to see. A female voice answers.

“Report Agent. What news do you have for us?”

“Things are progressing. I have discovered the effects of ingesting too much of the formula on the human body. They catch fire and explode.”

“This is good news, Agent Mabon. Even better than we hoped for.”

“Yes, Your Supremeness.”

“Have you encountered any problems?”

“Gully is starting to panic. He was very eager to get the formula when we promised that it would be addictive to his consumers. Now that he is finding out the true effects of the drink he is only concerned that he can continue increasing his wealth. I suspect he is already trying to find ways to avoid the blame and increase his profits.”

“Yes, greed. It is so easy to make it work in our favor. The mammals are so self-centered that they can’t see beyond their own concerns.”

“There is one other problem, Your Supremeness. There are two interlopers that may cause us trouble. They call themselves The Good Guys. They have an overly developed sense of community and concern for their fellow mammals.”

“What makes them so different?”

“They do not seem to be motivated by greed or selfish interests. They actively seek out others who are having problems and try to provide a solution.”

“Are they a threat to our plans?”

“I do not believe so, Your Supremeness. I have instructed Gully to handle things. He assures me he will take care of the matter.”

“Very well. But keep an eye on the situation. If Gully fails then it will be up to you to deal with the matter. Our plans must continue if we are to rid the planet of the mammals currently ruling everything.”

“It shall be as you command, Your Supremeness.”

“Make sure it is, Agent Mabon. Report again when you have more information. Death to the mammals!”

“Yes, Your Supremeness. Death to the mammals!”

The screen goes dark. Mabon flips a switch and the panel slides up.
