Running up against a deadline

  • by

“I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.” – Douglas Adams

So. That project that I’ve been hinting at for the last couple of weeks? Well, I’m working on it.

I let a lot of things get in the way – client work, getting the house cleaned out, and general holiday rushing around. But I am working on it and determined to get the book published before Christmas.

There is a slight snag in getting the cover done, mainly finding artwork to grace the cover. I think I’ve narrowed it down and hopefully it will come together tomorrow.

The title has been settled upon. Thanks to everyone who let me know their preferences.

I think I’ve almost got the cover blurb done.

And I’m working on the two stories to round it out to a total of 10.

So, if I can just get all this to come together in the next day or two I might get the book out to the distributors in time to be published before Christmas. And if not, then I got a really early start on next year.

Can I do it? Stay tuned to find out.
