I opened up an email today from my hosting company for my website. The hosting fee has jumped up again and I can’t afford another year of hosting on their service.
So, I’m looking into other hosting companies to see if I can get a better rate.
Should I find one with a better rate that I’m happy with, I’m going to have to move my website. I don’t think it will be too much of a hassle, other than the DNS changes propagating through the Internet. They say the changes can take up to 72 hours, but I’ve found from experience that the updates usually go out much faster than that.
If all goes smoothly (meaning I’ve sacrificed enough live pizzas to the Internet gods) then you, dear reader, shouldn’t notice any interruptions in service.
Here’s hoping for a smooth transition on all fronts.
