Well, my Hordeling, I can safely say that I’m not happy with my Email Service Provider right now.
I discovered a while back that my mailing list sign-up form wasn’t actually signing anyone up. I’m on their ‘free’ plan since I only have a small number of people on my list. It doesn’t make sense to me to pay for the service until I get many more people on the list. Which won’t ever happen if no one can sign up!
I’m going to guess it stopped working when I was forced to move from their ‘classic’ platform to their new platform. When I moved, all my forms and automations still showed as being set up so I figured that they had moved everything over to the new platform. This is something you would expect if they had good customer service. But alas, that is not the case.
Being on the ‘free’ plan, the company does not give you any support. Because us cheap bums don’t deserve any help getting their system to do what we need it to do. I’ve read through their documentation but what they have steps for doesn’t seem to cover what I need. So I did what any self-respecting techie would do. I tore the whole thing down and rebuilt it from scratch.
Three times.
Still can’t get the blasted thing working.
So, I can either move to another email service provider, or I can pay the weasels I’m using now to see if I can get some tech support.
