So, the first quarterly Blog Hop for 2025 is this Wednesday. For those new to things around here, the Blog Hop is when a bunch of authors all write a flash fiction tale, under 1000 words, and post it to their blogs, with links to all the other participating stories.
A while back I ran a poll asking people which genre I should write in for this year’s Blog Hop entries. The winner was Space Opera.
I’ve been putting it off, trusting the Muse to deliver a story to me, like she usually does.
Not this time around. Not yet, anyway.
I think she is being obstinate since I haven’t worked on the two other flash fiction series of stories she gave me a while ago in some time now. Every time I try to sit down to think about the Space Opera tale, she keeps putting bits and pieces of stories from the other series in its place.
I’m keeping this short and sweet. I’m off to go see if I can ply the Muse with something she likes so she’ll hand me a story for the Blog Hop.
