Delving the garage

We made another stab at cleaning out the garage today.

Like most garages in the US, our is a repository for all the stuff that is no longer being used but needs to be put somewhere, until it becomes useful again, or just plain gets forgotten. Of course, by the time something becomes useful again, you can’t get to it because of all the other stuff in the way.

In our previous attempt at cleaning out the garage we managed to make a small path into the space and clear out a small area where we could stand. That proved very beneficial for today’s efforts.

We got in there and got about half the space cleaned out, or at least better organized. Some of the stuff went to charity, but much of it will be put up for sale. I pulled a few things out to save – a shop vac, two ladders, a drill plus some drill bits, and some rope.

In all, a good effort. We’re on track to hold a sale at the end of April.

There is still much to do, but I’m confident we can get things in order, or at least close enough, that we can have a sale at the end of the month.

Once again, I’m beat so I’m off to see if I can get some sleep.

Wish me luck, my Hordeling.

  1. I don’t think it has been proven yet, but a popular theory suggests that the very first black hole in the history of the universe was originally an overloaded garage.
