As I’ve posted before, we’re working on getting the house cleaned out. It’s a lot of work, sorting and getting things into their proper piles and then out of the house.
We’ve decided to do an estate sale to see if we ca sell off a lot of the larger items ad the may smaller ones we are letting go. That process takes organization. And whereas I’m good with logic, order and structure, I’m not so good at organizing a physical space.
That’s where Jo comes in. The wife asked one o the pastors at Church if they knew anyone that could help with a estate sale. We were directed to Jo. Jo used to do office management and logistics so she has the right type of organizational skills to get things in order.
Jo arrived and jumped right in. She’s helped us go through each room to get things cleaned, put into piles of things to sell and keep, and get everything in its place.
Jo is incredibly high energy. It’s a lot like watching the Tasmanian Devil in the old Warner Brother cartoons, spinning around in a mad dash. Or maybe like a squirrel on speed. But instead of everything getting all messed up, it gets organized.
It’s been a lot of work keeping up with her, and I tend to be worn out and dehydrated by the end of the day.
I can safely say that if Jo hadn’t come along, though, that we wouldn’t be nearly as far along as we are for the estate sale. I literally could not have done it without her. I am grateful that she came along.
I hope that if you have a large project that you get your own Jo equivalent helper to assist you, my Hordeling.
