It’s been another one of those days.
Was awakened at 3:00 AM by the wife, then again at 5:30 AM by the wee dog, then at 6:30 AM by the alarm clock.
Had to get up, get showered, get breakfast, get the dogs walked, get the step-daughter, and get going with the day.
The morning was busy with cleaning, followed by going to an indoor flea market. While there, a friend of mine called with some computer troubleshooting questions. After the indoor flea market, we were off to lunch. Did manage to get a short fifteen minute nap after lunch.
Hauled some old tires and batteries off to the recycling center. Traffic was horrendous as someone had a major accident on the freeway heading to the recycling center. Another argument in favor of Google self-driving cars. That caused traffic to travel slower than a sail on the freeway, and clog the feeder road with all the cars trying to get away from the freeway. I think the only thing left to get rid of at recycling is some old paint that hasn’t dried out yet.
Got some items out to the Post Office that sold on eBay. Went on a search for more packing tape and packing peanuts.
Home in time to get a pizza ordered, out to get the pizza, and eat.
Then more cleaning and packing.
In all a busy day. We’re getting closer to having everything ready to move, a bit each day. We should be good to go come moving day.
Now, off to sleep.
