Busy day today. Up early with the dogs. Sirocco crawled into bed in the middle of the night, got up close to me, then rested his head on my shoulder. It was very cute. I gave him a few scritches then threw him off the bed.
Went to talk with some folks about getting a ramp built for the wife to help get into the new house more easily.
Then it was back to the house. I made some progress and cleaned up a lot of the living room. I actually saw floorspace. Then I discovered the movers had put a bunch of boxes in the garage. < heavy sigh >
Moved all he boxes into the house so they could be opened along with all the other boxes. They were big, heavy boxes too. One ripped apart as I was trying to get it inside. That was fun … not!
Had lunch.
Spent the afternoon and evening with the wife at the rehab facility. Took my laptop so she could catch up with things. Got some take-out pizza for dinner. Played a game of Scrabble and I won!
Finally got home late this evening. Got the dogs fed. They were quite excited about that.
Now I’m writing this post to you, my Hordeling. As soon as this gets posted I’m heading to bed.
