After what seems like far too long, the wife should be returning home Monday.
Unless something catastrophic happens she is supposed to end her IV antibiotic treatments. I’ve not been told yet if Monday is the day she s to be released or if Monday is the last day of her treatments, or possibly both.
If the rehab center is anything like hospitals, even if she is being released Monday she may be there all day. Every time the wife has been released from a hospital I show up in the morning, then wait all day as the hospital has to ‘do one more test’ or hunt down the appropriate person to sign off on her going home. I’m hoping that isn’t the case here.
At worst, if she has to have antibiotics all day Monday, she will either get out in the evening, or possibly they will release her Tuesday morning.
She has had outings from the rehab center where she gets to leave for a few hours between antibiotic treatments. Usually she comes home so she can visit with the dogs. Sometimes we go out to eat, or shopping. Even when battling a bacterial blood infection the wife can find a way to shop.
I will be happy to have her back home again. The house is too quiet when she’s not here. I miss getting hugs and back scratches. I miss telling her “I love you” and hearing it back.
I’m ready for things to get back to normal.
I hope you have someone in your life, my Hordeling. If so, take good are of them so you don’t have to spend months apart.

You should set up a betting pool for the day and time she actually leaves, taking half for yourself off the top.
I’ll take Monday at 8:34 pm.
I’m going to be optimistic and say Monday at 10:32 AM.
