Happy Thanksgiving to you, my Hordeling! Well, if you’re in the United States, that is. If you don’t celebrate the holiday I hope you had a great day.
Ours went fairly well. Go to sleep in a little later because the weather was freezing and windy and I didn’t have to walk the dogs.
Got some stuff done on the computer, then later in the morning got started making Thanksgiving dinner. Got the turkey in the oven, then I listened to Alice’s Restaurant on the radio. More accurately, on the radio station’s streaming service. Still a fun listen. One of these days I should sit down and watch the movie.
Did some reading, then made all the other parts of the midday meal.
We had turkey and gravy, sweet potato, peas, corn, and stuffing. It wasn’t perfect, I got almost everything done on time, but it turned out not too bad if I do say so myself.
After we ate, the most important part of the day. I got an afternoon nap. 🙂
Spent the rest of the day relaxing and watching TV.
And now the fun part. Cleaning up the dishes and kitchen.
