So, the hunt for the Christmas tree skirts continued, but no luck in finding them. The wife is concerned about getting them in place so if any ornaments fall off the tree they’ll have some cushioning instead of falling directly on the floor.
In the process of looking for the tree skirts, which consisted of me going through boxes in the Christmas Room and calling downstairs to the wife what the box contains, she settled on several boxes of ornaments and decorations to use on the three trees we have set up.
I got the boxes downstairs and the wife went through them, pulling out the ornaments she wanted. Then we went on to the decorating.
The wife hung many of the ornaments herself, then directed me on where she wanted the rest hung. I got those spots where she couldn’t reach, like the upper parts of the trees or the backsides.
At the end of it all, she declared the trees decorated. Caliwandalous! That’s one more thing down as we gear up to the Christmas season. I’m sure there will probably be more decorations to be set up around the house but that is a task for another day.
To round out my day, I got my Christmas list together and sent off to the relevant parties. It’s nice getting things checked off my To Do list.
