So another trip around the Sun completed. Another year in the can. Every year we unknowingly pass the anniversary of our future death.
It’s New Year’s Eve for the rest of the world (I celebrate it on August 3). The cusp of new possibilities. New chances to do it better.
Had a relaxed day then got together with friends for dinner, then played Yahtzee Words. Kind of like Yahtzee but instead of trying to get various combinations of numbers, the die have letters and you’re trying to get words of varying length, or number of words, or even a seven letter word (Yahtzee!). Much fun was had.
So, tomorrow’s yet another new beginning. Hopefully the new year has a little less chaos, a little more structure, and much more prosperity.
