Sorry about the radio silene yesterday, my Hordeling. The last three days have been horrible. On an up note, called my doctor about taking the metformin and it making me sick all the time. She agreed that I could go off it and prescribed something else for me. Hopefully it won’t make me violently ill like the metformin did. I’ve been so weak that I can barely stand long enough to get the dogs their food. I am looking forward to not feeling so terrible all the time and get back to some semblance of being healthy.
I’ve not done any writing, for obvious reasons. I find that I’m not able to generate any motivation while I’m feeling this way.
In other news, the Great Trek Rewatch continues. I have finished off the entire series of Star Trek: The Next Generation and its related movies. I have now moved on to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Overall ST:TNG was a decent addition to the Star Trek canon. It had some dud episodes (they can’t all be winners) but it also had some really good episodes. The characters were interesting and the series was well acted. From what I remember of ST:DS9 it was pretty good so I’m looking forward to getting to watch all of it.
Major Tom got groomed today. He is looking quite spiffy and his coat is all soft now.
That’s about it for now. I’m going to hit the sack and hope that I feel better in the morning.
