I don’t remember when it started, but this has been going on for quite some time. Recently though, he has started doing this much more often. I would say he is almost borderline obsessive.
Sirocco sits inside his crate, then starts digging. He furiously starts scratching at the floor of the crate, like he’s trying to dig through the world to the other side.

I don’t know why he does this. I may never know.
It’s just such an odd thing to do. He can’t dig through the floor of the crate. He’s not getting any reward from it – no treat, no catching an animal, etc. Does he see it as exercise? Does he like the noise it makes? Is he trying to get Major Tom to play?
