Just a brief update as the night got away from me again.
First, I got my story finished and submitted to the Holly’s Writing Classes anthology. However, I made a rookie mistake and didn’t read the guidelines carefully enough. My submission didn’t reach the minimum word count necessary for consideration. I have a chance to change the story so I’ll be doing that and resubmitting.
Second, I’ve been beta reading a story for a friend of mine and time got away from me while I was reading it.
Third, I’ve been working on formatting one of the wife’s books. I’ve been through it twice now hunting typos and whatnot, as has the wife. This will hopefully be the last time, but it seems no matter how many times you proofread something, minor typos always slip through.
